  3. I picked up a Vibra Prime a while back. It works decent. Its a lot easier and faster than loading tubes by hand. I occasionally have a primer jam in there...usually Federal small pistol primers, but nothing bad.
  4. I run Hornady presses. My main press is a Lock-n-Load progressive. I added the case feeder and bullet feeders to it last year. I can load 100 rounds of 9mm in 6 minutes on that setup. For the way I load, I like the individual die bushings. I have seaters and powder measure inserts for every single load that I run. Seaters, expanders, etc are common by caliber. Everything is barcoded and is managed by my reloading software. When you pull up a load, all of the required tooling is shown as well. That way, I just snap the individual tooling in and start loading. My advice is to buy a progressive....you'll get tired of a single stage very quickly. You can't go wrong with Hornady or Dillon. Both have excellent service and great products.
  5. Welcome from Utica, Ohio! Enjoy your new press!
  6. Generally I go to 2 USPSA matches per month, one of them I shoot twice in two divisions. I have a couple majors on the calendar this year as well. If I have time, I hit Steel Challenge as well.
  7. Check out our team site....Squad3.net !

  9. I played around with a few of the Paras a while back for limited and open. The P14 and P16 magazines worked ok. The P18 mags are a different story. There are two types out there. There's a 9mm and a 9mm/38 super. The older 9mm only-marked mags are somewhat hard to find. The 9mm/38 super mags are not at all reliable with 9mm. You have to reform the indented sections at the top of the mag to get the rounds to keep them from nosediving due to the 9mm being tapered. The reforming process involves heating the mags up, reform them, refinish them as necessary, and polish up the feed lips. If you load long, it is possible to get the P18 9/38s mags to run without spacers. Those mags are reliable with 38 super though. A while back, Para was supposedly redesigning the mags for the P18 to actually run 9mm.
  10. I'm also running Revolver Supply .040 extreme clips and Federal brass in my 929. The brass is held tightly. I just get them close to the cylinder and toss them in. They fall right in every time. As far as tools, I'm using the BMT Mooner and the Deluxe Moon Clip Tool from mooncliptool.com. I'm running them from a moon clip server in the front an a double post in the back for a couple extras. I'm plenty happy with all of this equipment.
  11. I picked one up the other day. I ran it with the head strap in last month's local match. I'm running it on 1080 60fps with Medium FOV. The camera is easy to operate, just tap the top button once to turn it on and start recording. Tapping it again stops recording and turns it back off. It's light enough to not even notice it's there. I prefer the Session 4 over my ReplayXD.
  12. I use the Double Alpha Racemaster for my CZ open and limited guns. For revolver division, I run a Double Alpha Racer. For Production, I run a Bladetech DOH. The Double Alpha gear is top notch! The guns lock in securely and the hangers have a lot of adjustment. Everything locks down tight after you have it adjusted. The Bladetech is decent too, especially for the price as compared to the DAA, but the Double Alpha gear smokes Bladetech in quality and speed.
  13. Thanks for the welcome everyone!
  14. Hi all, Name here is Lonnie. I generally shoot at Pickaway in Circleville, OH and Briar Rabbit in Zanesville, OH. I've been shooting and competing for years in different aspects of the shooting sports. I enjoy USPSA and Steel Challenge, as well as Skeet, Sporting Clays, and precision rifle. I'm planning on trying multigun next season. I'm into reloading, NFA hardware and gunsmithing. I do a large majority of my own work on my gear. This is my first season in USPSA and it's definately an awesome time! I've learned a lot in the first handful of matches and have met some great people. As of last weekend, I got my first classifications. C in Revolver and D in Limited. I generally shoot the matches well, typically landing in the top five for the division I'm shooting in, but I tend to try too hard on the classifiers and screw them up. I am interested in all divisions except single stack and production optics. My intent is to get classified as at least 'C' in my divisions of interest and then go back and work on further improvements depending on where I'm having the most fun at the time. Here's the equipment list relative to USPSA: Production: SIg P320 9mm Limited, Limited 10 Primary: CZ Tactical sport 40 Limited, Limited 10 Backup: CZ Tactical sport 9mm Revolver: S&W 929 Open: CZ Czechmate (currently enroute from the factory)
