tracecom
Just bought a G34 and want to load with TiteGroup. Need to make 125,000 pf and use stock recoil spring and guide rod, but want minimal recoil. What bullet weights and charges of TiteGroup have you had success with? Thanks. stingerjg
i have been loading TiteGroup for my 9mm for the last year. I have a Kahr T9 with a 3.5" barrel. my load is 130gr Rainier RN over 3.8gr of TiteGroup. i get about 135PF. its a little bit higher power factor than i need but i like the way it functions. Carlos
147s loaded out to 1.155 (max for Glock mags) & either 3.2 or 3.3 grns of titegroup. Very soft shooting.
Joe D
3.0 gr. with a 147 gr plated bullet. OAL is 1.125" I do use a 13# spring in both my G34 and 35. It is OK to change your spring in SSP.
MoNsTeR
I've used 4.2gr with a 124gr and 3.3gr with a 147gr. But try N320 instead, by comparison Titegroup makes 9mm feel like a hand cannon. 3.6gr N320 with a Berry's 147gr is sweet.
Zak Smith
I had the opposite impression of N320 vs. TG. 4.2gr TG with a 124gr West Coast has less blast for me than the equivalent load with N320. -z
TRG65
I agree with Monster I found TG to be loud, obnoxious, dirty and sharp. I only tried a pound, but that was enough for me. I use either 310 or 320 under a 147 Zero. Feel wise for a similar pf load I can't tell the difference between 310 and 320. In fact this past week, I alternated a 310 and 320 load in a mag and shooting one after the other I couldn't tell a difference. 320 left a little soot back about 1/3 of the case and 310 didn't. But that is nothing to what TG did. There wasn't enough pressure to seal any of the case and I ended up with a lot more gunk accumulation around the chamber area than VV gives. Just my $0.02, TG has a great deal of support. I'm just not one of its supporters. VV is harder to get and if you don't load enough to make buying 12-16lbs at a time realistic its not real economical to buy by the pound.
EricW
5.0 gr of TG under a 115gr jacket gives around 140PF out of my G19. I'm guessing 4.5 out of a G34 would give you a very comfortable margin. My gun is squeaky clean with this load.
vluc
4.3 grains of TG with a Montana Gold 124 FMJ-RN loaded out at 1.151 give me 143 PF 4.2 loaded out to 1.169 give me 130 PF all with a Glock
tracecom
Thanks to all for the suggestions. Since I have TiteGroup, I'll try it first and then the N320.
Venezuela
My favorite load with TiteGroup is 3.8 gr. with 120 gr. LRN Linotype (lead). I get a power factor of
LoneWolf
I really like this load for my Sig : 124 gr Rainier RN 4.0 gr Titegroup 1.156 OAL .376 Crimp The recoil is mild, it cycles great and it hits POA.
