Rocket35
Thanks everyone for taking the time. I think I will go with hardchrome on this one and IonBond my Trojan. 1911s are meant to be black!
blkbrd
Where you are with bright sunshine I like Ionbond as I shoot better with a black limited gun. The flash from hard crome in my sight picture is distracting. Ionbond for Limited, hardchrome for Open

Mark K
OK, we are voting, but where are you all getting your hard chrome and Ion Bond done? I have a limited gun I will want done this year, but it will need some clean up of scratches, etc. Mark K
kgunz11
Ion Bond goes directly to Ion Bond, and has to go through an FFL dealer they accept from. Hard Chrome can get done right down the road from you in Alabama. Accurate Plating & Weaponry comes very highly recommended. Bob Cogan there did my Edge and was recommended to me from STI. Loves2Shoot
Ion Bond goes directly to Ion Bond, and has to go through an FFL dealer they accept from. You can also send it directly to us. We do not use their custom shop as part of our agreement with IonBond for the coating we do.
