Ken
With all the talk of wide bodies being used in USPSA open and limited classes, I'm wondering where, if at all, the single stacks are being used competively (other than, I think, that one class in IDPA)? For example, does a single stack .38 super have any place these days?
texasag93
Limited 10 class in IPSC. I like it for that because the grip is much smaller and more comfortable. And you only need ten rounds anyway. TXAG
jhgtyre
The Single Stack Society would be another good place to check. They allow 10 rounds of .38 super in the mag but they score it as minor only. -ld
Jamie McG
like TXAG said limited 10, now I'm not sure if 38 super makes major or not, if you have access to a chrono all you have to make is 165 power factor for major. I and alot of my friends shoot single stacks, which when we beat a double stacker when they come and play lim 10 is all the more sweeter.
Ron Ankeny
The .38 Super will score minor in USPSA Limited 10. A single stack .38 Super would be really cool in IDPA, Steel Challenge, and/or IPSC if you don't care about scoring minor.
