I get that people like cats, I am not a cat person, rather love my dogs. But if you have to let your cat outside, keep it in your yard, like us dog owners do. SiG Lady Posted February 4, 2009 Share Posted February 4, 2009 I squirted a vinegar solution into the face of one offending cat on a certain occasion and he didn't like it at all. However, I was simply fortunate that he was that close and froze when I approached him. I think trapping them is about the only realistic solution.
