Neomet
My first ever competition of any type was that event back in '07. Really good match with a bunch of fun folks who took pity on a complete and utter FNG.

Rocket35
Since this one is over a 15 hour drive, I won't be making it. Kind of a bummer- cause I would have like to go to this one.

racegun9
Anyone ever find out what the side match is? I think it's a copy and paste error from an old form. No side match planned this year. Just 10 or 12 stages depending on if the new berms are done. Jeff
bkeeler
BTT Email from MD: Our annual Speed Steel Match is May 16, 2009 at Arnold Rifle and Pistol Club. 10 Stages and 250 rounds minimum in the past and looks like we can get 12 stages and 300 rounds minimum in this year. This is our Steel Plate Membership Drive match and members and non-members are invited for this match. More Information and Application can be found at: http://rhebert.nightowl.net/ Sign Up by May 1 and match shirt is included in the $50 entry fee. We are limited to about 60 shooters. I have at least 10 spots left I am going to try to classify as many shooters as I can again this year. Either from USPSA, IDPA, or Past Steel Plate Match's. This lets me give out more plaques in Divisions and Class's. I will use the same plaque format as last year Three in a Division for High Overall Three in a Class for 1st Five in a Class for 2nd Seven in a Class for 3rd Plaques will be personalized post match. The match will be in the same format as previous years. Very Short Shooter Meeting at 8:30am. 5 or 6 stages in the morning, break for lunch and reset stages, then 5 or 6 stages in the afternoon. I think we have been finished shooting by 3:30. I'm sure Rick will be setting up the Stages on Friday Morning and you are welcome to come and practice on Friday.
