AustinMike
My 1100 was binding up in the tube today. The plastic follower was stopping short of pushing the last round out. The follower is pretty rough looking and I need to replace it. I'd like to get a metal one instead of plastic. Suggestions? Also, were can I find replacement springs for the tube? I've got a Choate +5 tube and I can't seem to find any place online that sells just the spring.
D.Hayden
Brownells They sell aluminum followers. For the spring, they have a cut to length one... works great.

Nik Habicht
Mike, Wolff has cut to fit springs, and I'm pretty sure Brownells carries them most of the time. I'm using a metal follower in both my 1100 and my 870 --- IIRC it's a Vang Comp part. It eliminated all feeding issues....

StealthyBlagga
Also, check that your barrel clamp is not bending the mag tube... this can cause binding too. Remove the clamp and see if the follow bind goes away.
lmccrock
According to Benny, the best spring for that is a Benelli "Magazine Spring, Long" from Brownells. Yes, it works for me and my 1100 and Choate tube. No tuning, no cutting. Lee
M ammo
http://www.cactustactical.com/osc/nordic-c...wer-p-1257.html It might be too late,,, the Nordic follower with the three bumps if you will,, feeds very nicly,, when it goes from tube,, to tube,, that fixed a big problem I had from time to time with feeding.. RePete
I suggest the VangComp plastic follower. I install a lot of these and have never had a problem with them.
