What Camera/camcorder are you using?

So for match video, and some pictures to be posted on the web (blog/facebook/youtube), what are you using and why?

I'm looking at this for a video camera:

And these for a camera that takes video:

So what’s the difference in video quality, and maybe more importantly does it matter if you are putting it on the web?

Second 8mp's or 12 mp's these are never going to the MOMA so does %50 more = %50 better or just %50 more $?

Mostly I'm looking for your opinions on what you have.

This is what I use and it suits me just fine. I make some videos for the local guys and then use it at work everyday since I do the news show for my school. I like one that can record on a SD card as well as tape for those times I don't have time to down load the tape to edit it. It also has the firewire cable that gives nice DVD quality when I have time to do better stuff.

For stills more MP does not always mean better, just more and bigger.

I'm getting the feeling from reviews I'm reading on PC world, Amazon, Consumer reports, no camera (in my price range anyway) will do decent video, and take good photographs. As always buy with the primary purpose in mind, so I'm going to go with a video camera, and will probably get one of these flash drive/SD card models. The Panasonic in the link above sounds right but I went to Circuit City last night to check it out and it is small, too small for my massive hands to comfortably operate the controls without repositioning, and contorting. I did look at some Samsung models that could work.

I'm happy with my El Cheapo solution:

Aiptek A-HD. It was ~$120 almost a year ago and does high definition 720P at 30fps. Uses cheap SD memory cards too.

Their latest model does up to 1080i resolution and up to 60fps $199.

The sounds quality isn't that great and the HD video editing and playback can be hard on an older PC. (cpu intensive h.264 encoding)
