lynn jones
I'm sure this page will go away as soon as Google discovers it and fires the programmer. Hope you see it first. 1) Go to Google.com; http://www.google.com/ 2) Type in (but don't hit return): "weapons of mass destruction"; 3) Hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button, instead of the normal "Google search" button; 4) Read what appears to be a normal error message carefully. Detlef
c'mon, "I'm feeling lucky" simply takes you to the first item in the match list. Google's programmers are innocent bystanders... --Detlef

L9X25
Google is aware of the situation (they refuse to call it a problem) and do not intend to do anything about it. They state that the results of their searches are tracked by usage and reflect the most frequent affiliations. Some folks have created bots that repeatedly hit Google and affiliate certain phrases with certain websites. For example: Go to Google and type in "miserable failure" and then the Feeling Lucky button. The bots have exploited the methodology of the Google software to affiliate the site with the phrase. The sad part is that, each time we go to Google and do this, we are reinforcing the affiliation. Leo
Vince Pinto
Hi guys, Another funny one is to type french military victories in the box and then hit the "I'm feeling lucky" button (with apologies to my French pals) Also try anti-war peace protesters ...
