pevadijk
Ok, this might sound stupid, but the slidestop on my 9mm STI Edge is MIM-ugly, so I want a nicer one ;-) But are all the slide stop the same or not? Wilson (and a few others) makes them in 9mm/.38 super and .45 ACP style. but what's the difference? BTW, for $20 the EGW slide stop seems tempting....... Jasonub
svi and egw for me. heres the normal 20 dollar egw part http://egw-guns.com/store/index.php?main_p...;products_id=46 and heres the one you dont need but may want its 50 bucks http://egw-guns.com/store/index.php?main_p...products_id=
Joe4d
The length of the "stop" portion inside the frame. The 45 version is shorter so the 45 bullets coming up can clear it without causeing the gun to lock back. The 9mm version is longer so it will catch the narrower follower on the way up. Oh and just to make your day a little more, either will most likely have to be fit to your gun to function properly.
wide45
I don't know if it is MIM or cast, but the regular EGW part is not bar stock. I have been running one for years with no problems.

Jasonub
both are oversized from egw, the first one is cast iirc and the second one is from barstock both are .200" the normal diameter is .198 iirc. what one does is buy a normal diameter stop, mine was from svi. after 10000 rounds i put in the egw which again brings back the old tight "lockup" I think jerry barnhart was the one who suggested this
