A few weeks ago, I bought a XL650 and although it works just fine, I do have a question. When the press is stationary in it's lowest position, there is some play on the shellplate station. You can move it a bit round it's axis, is that normal?

I'm thinking if upgrading from a CZ to a Tanfoglio, but I have no use for the huge magwell on the Limited HC models. Is it possible to remove the magwell and install 'long' grips, or am I missing something?

Are the frames on the black Shadow 2's polycoated? It looks that way in the pics, but the guns that I handled at the IWA show had the same finish on frame and slide (and that wasn't polycoat).

Are those CRT pads 'easy' to remove?

I'm thinking of replacing my stock Glock floorplates with some aluminum plates. This is what a 'short rail' 75 looks like. I live in Europe and is this region CZ's are very common (and cheap), but I haven't seen short rail version for a very long time, so I guess they must be very rare in the US?

A CZcustom competition hammer usually makes for a nice crisp trigger, so I guess a CGW hammer also does the trick?

I know it varies from gun to gun: my 34 Gen4 works with just about everything with a stock striker +4,5 lbs spring, but my wifes 17C is only reliable with the stock spring.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around 'what makes these things work'? Does a lighter striker 'accelerate' faster, so that it hits harder, or is it just the extended tip? My wife's 17C has a ZEV striker and although I haven't measured it, the tip sure doesn't look extended, so I guess the difference isn't much??

I wish I could get the Jager, but I live in Europe and Jager doesn't export :-(

I've read a lot about ZEV (lightened) strikers, but I seldom read about the strikers from Lightning Strike, are they any good?

I have a paperclip hole in my custom made guiderod...........makes it use to get the spring in, without sending it airborne ;-)

CZ's are just great! Here in Europe they have been popular for more than 20 years and they're tough and durable........over here even the old pre-B models are very common and still going strong.

Driving over to Saul seems like the best option, I guess :-)

I'm planning on buying a RaceMaster holster for my CZ, but there is a catch ;-) My CZ is a stainless 75B which has a somewhat different triggerguard than the SP-01/Shadow's. Has anyone experience with the fit of the 75B's to a RaceMaster holster? I do live in The Netherlands and Saul is very friendly to see if he can make it to fit, but maybe someone has already tried/done it?

I live in The Netherlands and here it's legal to set off your firework at the 31th and only on that day. But on that day, the whole country is full of assholes who throw firework at anything they see..........and today I heard that last night was "relatively quiet", which translates to 6 burnt down houses and a few people lost their eyes or hands because of the firework they used. The majority of our citizens thinks it should be forbidden, or lit only by professionals..........but someone must be thinking that everything must stay this way?

I've got an older Comp-Tac for my G17 with the solid belt-loop and I wish I bought another one for my G34 when the were still available :-(
