oldcurmudgeon
I want to get a modified choke tube for my Winchester SX2, but don't want to order the wrong thing. I see Cabela's lists tubes for "Winchester/Weatherby/Mossberg." Are these the same or is the SX2 something special?> (I searched the forums, but didn't find an answer) Thanks

Those targets on stage one (the first stage one) out in the brush ate my lunch. I ordered Invector chokes, should be the same for the SX2 and FN SLP. On Midway USA I just searched Invector and they all came up. Doug Edited April 14, 2008 by Doug H.
Run n Gun
Doug's right on. Our SX2s use "Invector" chokes but NOT "Invector Plus". I buy mine from Briley and find the "Light Modified" to be the most useful all-around choke. At Briley's site look under "Browning" and don't tell them you're putting it into a Winchester (the SX2 actually made by FN) or they will send you a "WinChoke". HSMITH
My SX2 uses Invector Plus chokes. If it is a backbored barrel it needs the Plus chokes for sure, and all of the bird barrels are backbored. Not sure about the practical models.....

Craigar45
Yeah, if we are talking FN SLP MkI and SX2 MkI then you are looking for invectors. I have a IC and M that came with the gun, and also a Hastings Full that go with for all 3g matches. The full came in very handy for Carl's buckshot stage last weekend! P.E. Kelley
Standard "Invector" chokes and "Winchokes" are interchangeable. I prefer the Winchokes as they are less expensive and have an external knurled section for easy removal. Patrick

The same reason I don't practice. It is cheap and easy! Good to see you both last week. I got a couple of OK photos of you and Jan on "the rock" stage. Shoot me your email address and I'll get them to you. Patrick
