1911vm
I am tying to figure away to extend a 18.5in barrel so it is not shorter the 8+1 tube. Are adjustable chokes legal for 3-gun? They look to be correct length.
TRUBL
They are legal....as long as they have no porting.

1911vm
Polychoke Do you know how far this extends past the end of barrel? Vlad
StealthyBlagga
Polychoke Do you know how far this extends past the end of barrel? Vlad The PolyChoke without porting does not extend the barrel by much - maybe 2" . Personally, I do not worry about my magazine tube extending beyond the end of the barrel... actually, it helps protect the muzzle from being damaged or plugged by dirt if you stumble. Mine hangs way out there:
bigbrowndog
I believe Briley marketed extensions for barrels that worked much the same way a screw in choke does, this was done so that clays shooters could gain sight radius and barrel length for??????????? the extensions were 3 to 6" long, and screwed in place just like choke tubes. they might be able to help, trapr

EkuJustice
Ya briley can make you extended chokes pretty much as long as you want them
mike4045
I am having Briley add a barrel ext on my gun. 4" with a set of chokes. Should give me a length of about 23" to cover my extension tube.
StealthyBlagga
is that poly choke 1 or 2 You should probably contact PolyChoke directly for the actual dimensions if they matter to you that much. IIRC, the PolyChoke1 has to be silver soldered, brazed or welded on the end of an unthreaded barrel, whereas the PolyChoke2 screws into existing choke tube internal threads, but both would extend the barrel my similar amounts.
