zhunter
Hey Boz I have been fishing this spring (Tarpon season in the Keys), but getting the itch to shoot a bit. I had stopped and was shooting my bow, the expense of shooting was just not in the budget for a while.
boz1911
I can understand the allure of the Tarpon. As teens, my brother and I caught scads of them (4-10lbs) off the bridges in Ft Lauderdale on light spinning gear. Don't think that's legal there anymore. Probably wasn't legal back then either.... zhunter
Why wouldn't it be legal? I was fly fishing for the big ones tho, biggest this year was 140#'s
boz1911
Why wouldn't it be legal? People caught tired of their cars being hit with weights and lures while casting, plus we knew nothing about a license. And those tiny Snook (our main target) were mighty tasty. Don't even ask about all the short (by law) lobster my brother used to catch and release, yeah right...........We were kids, and dumb
