I rented this one on DVD tonight and was told the version you buy had an alternate ending. I went looking on the net for the alternate and found it here:

I think I like this ending better as it explains the "trap" that was set for him.

Thank you for posting this. I only got the original version yesterday and now wish I had gotten the version with the alternate ending. Thank you. I got to admit I liked it better too.

Well I still had the sales slip so I did take it back and got the one with the alternate ending. Worth the extra dollars to me.

I assume it fell aways from him. As he was dragging himself back to the vehicle and the dogs were coming they flashed to it laying back where he got caught in the trap.

Where does his M4 go when he gets caught in the trap, you see him drop it but when he gets back down the rifle is missing leading to the drama with the dogs, I was yelling pick up the rifle but it wasnt there, kinda spoilt the film seing as there should'nt have been anyone there to take it away in the daylight ?

I waited for this one on DVD and watched it last week. I thought it was OK. The 60+ page thread on ar15.com where folks posted pictures of themselves in the tub with pets and rifles was the most amusing thing to come from the movie.
