StealthyBlagga
...the plate that goes INSIDE the magazine between the mag spring and the base plate (the piece with the star on it) ? I can't see it on the STI website, not do the several vendors I have checked seem to stock them. Edited April 16, 2007 by StealthyBlagga
uscbigdawg
Well, you probably won't be able to buy the mag spring plate seperately. Just 'cause. However, you might be able to find the basepads (w/ the plate included) at Brownell's or by just asking around. In the end, just get some Grams pads and be done with it. shred
FWIW, during the hicap ban days, that was the one hicap mag part STI wouldn't sell, so you couldn't make an entirely new STI mag.

Crusher
Brownells use to sell them, I'll try and dig up the PN (5 pack) FWIW use the wedge type STI/SV or the Dawson and you will never need any more and the mags come apart much easier. Base Pad Retainers Edit I notice they PN has been dropped. Edited April 17, 2007 by Crusher
jostein jensen
I just use a rod through the hole in the pad to compress the spring so I get my RHT alu pads off. The plate steals room for rounds
