Best thing Ford's produced since 1973. I had a 73 Mach I, an dropped a 429SCJ in it, cuz that what every 17yo's insurance needs. And a 67 390 4 spd conv and a 68 289 GTA conv and a 71 302 (non GT) and let one get away... My buddy bought it the same time I was up to my azz in the 73 / 429 project. a "daily driver" bone stock, 2nd owner 68 1/2 Shelby GT500KR. Yes, one of 833 ever made, 428CJ 4 spd, roll bar the whole nine...... The guy FINANCED it for $10,500 total. Thomas Moore Posted March 28, 2007 Author Share Posted March 28, 2007 in the garage resides a 1986 four eyed fox body mustang gt. my wife is the original owner, it's in mint condition with only 56k miles on her. she's been garage kept since 1994 and hasn't seen snow in 18 years. we only take it out on sunny warm days, like our new addition it will only see dry warm sunny days as well. And if you're the only car on the road you'd just as well drive the speed limit even with a detector.
