This was a real tough one for me this year. To me the Nationals is three or four days of hanging out with good friends and shooting some of the best stages in the country. Unfortunately this year the Nationals are bracketed by two PPC state championships within an hour's drive of my house, one of which is my home state AND association. Because of the location of the Nationals (I'm not knocking the move to Tulsa) it would be impossible for me to attend any of the state championships AND the Nationals. I had to make a choice between two inexpensive, close to home matches that I have a good chance of winning in a number of categories, or flying halfway across the country for a match I know I'll have a great time at, and that's it. I love hanging out with the guys, and Nationals is one of the best experiences a shooter can have, but this year my schedule and budget won't allow it. Give 'em hell, guys! Steelshooter Posted April 6, 2007 Share Posted April 6, 2007 So far I am committed to IRC ,Area 1 and the Croc, may shoot the " Man of Steel " in Albany OR, this year as well, to bad my damn job gets in the way of so much fun! Nationals maybe next year if I can win a slot this year. I do feel blessed to live in the NW where I can shoot every weekend locally (weather permitting).
