Washington State is experiencing some of the worst flooding in probably over 20 years. Below are some pictures taken recently.

I moved out of Western Washington in 1993 precisely BECAUSE of the flooding and/or constant THREAT of flooding. I was entirely and completely freaked by the damn' water (I'm not a water or boat person)!!! It was maddening and awful. :blink::angry::blink::angry:

It was raining like that over the New year back at the beginning of this year.. We'd always been worried about being snowed in in Medford.. nope, on Dec 30, 2005, we were mud slided in in Medford. Lucky for us, the road opened @ 3:30a, we were on the road at 5a, drove all day to get to the Bay area. So we are 25 miles from home and I80 is closed.. had to take a 60 mile detour to get home. Though that is pretty bad up there.
