Loctite Residue Removal?

Acetone (Nail Polish Remover) on a Q-tip should work well and it should prep (de-grease) the area so when re-applying fresh lock-tite you are good to go. Be careful I don't know what acetone will do to the composite grip, as I have never tested one with it but acetone does melt many types of plastics (can you say pile of goo?)

Loctite makes thier own remover called chisel. It's really good stuff and will remove loctite residue right down to bare metal. If you aren't in a hurry, a long soaking in acetone will also work.

To remove any of the Loctite adhesives from screws you can simply burn it off with a propane torch then brush the carbon off with a wire brush.

Chisel is great stuff but remember it will take off paint, skin, and anything else it touches.

Brake cleaner, acetone, or fingernail polish remover without the conditioners all work well, MEK is even better but will cause your liver to go south faster.
