Screwdrivers for Modern Smith & Wesson side plates

I bought a 3-blade set with driver from Brownells that was supposedly for S&W revolvers. The bits fit the side plate screws like crap.

This is what came with the set.

I understand the measurements, I'm not sure what the screws require. My revolvers are modern.

You will need to measure the width of the screw, thickness of the slot so9 that you can order the correct bits.

Thanks RePete. I have some oversized bits I'm going to do some hand work on and try and make one that fits.

I have good luck with standard 3/16 bits.

I took a fat slotted bit and rounded the ends to fit.

I have this set and they don't fit the S&W screws, either too big or too small. 

 

I use mine mainly for scope rings and bases.

 

I forgot to add that I have this set and has the correct bits.
