BDH
A small package showed up the other day, and apparently one of my NRA donations triggered them to send me a 'silver replica 458 Win Mag' cartridge signed by Wayne L himself. While I really don't have much use for it and would prefer that the NRA puts money toward defending our rights, it was the tiny sticker on the wrapper that caught my eye.... MADE IN CHINA Sorry, something just ain't right here....

Vlad
Well if they are going to waste money sending out trinkets, they might as well get the lowest price possible on those trinkets.

XRe
It would be prudent the remember that the NRA is a lobbyist organization, and, as such, follows many tactics to raise capital to spend on their primary mission. Some people (perhaps a lot of people?) respond to trinkets and make donations (or larger donations) based on the promise of some silly item. For that to work, the item must be inexpensive - unless we're talking about huge donations. I guarantee that making the same item in the US makes it cost prohibitive (in this case) - but... I'd probably fall in the camp that says it would be better to spend the cash elsewhere in the first place. Of course, I'm not a career fund raiser, either, so....
