Figured this might be interesting to others as well. My current collection of speed loaders for my Dan Wesson 744 revolver which all fit Smith and Wesson 29/629 revolvers as well. These are all the 44 speed loaders I know of, but if there are any others please let me know!

Warren made the custom knobs for my Safariland Comp I .44 speedloaders also.  Works great.

My problem is, I don't get along so well with the Comp I loaders.  Too many years using moon clips, I guess.

At any rate, I'm seriously considering getting out of the .44 business and just sticking with the moon clipped .45 ACP and .38 Short Colt revolvers.

If Safariland would make the Comp III in .44, might be a different story for me.

With the SL Variant back in production, perhaps I should reconsider.  But I kinda doubt it at this juncture.

Just made a loader holder setup for the SL Varient that also fits the comp I's and H&K

(with the right center spud)

Customer plans on shooting ICORE with 44 spcls or 44 Russian brass 😀

I know all those manufacturers but when you line them up like that I had no idea there

where so many !

Are the Speedloadeers held by a magnet or tension of the kydex.

Tension and a lip formed into the plastic, no magnets.

For the SL Varients I add a center post to keep the loader vertical and to set the height in the holder

so the user use different OAL's.

maybe pm me if you want/need more info, I don't want to high jack dayoung's thread.
