Which plate to best add a SRO to a Sig X5 Legion?

Title says it, Which plate to best add a SRO to a Sig X5 Legion?

 

Can you point me to a plate that mounts an SRO to a X5 Legion? I would like it to be set back as much as possible to keep the front glass as clean as possible. Any other pros and cons would be appreciated from those that have "been there and done that."

Springer Precision makes one. I’ve been happy with mine. Fits a RMR foot print.

Forward Controls makes an X5 Legion plate for RMR (and therefore SRO due to footprint):

I’d be potentially concerned about the SRO lens hanging over the ejector port.

The SRO hung over the ejection port on my AXG Pro. I prefered it. All the carbon built up under the SRO’s hood instead on splattering on the glass so it was always clean. Never had a malfunction caused by that.

Springer Precision.  If you buy used stay away from the Gen 1 plate.  It placed the SRO slightly over the ejection port and got carbon blasted onto the glass.  

 

The current version of the Springer Precision adapter plate prevents both these issues as plate mounts the optic further back on the slide.
