    Shadow 2 trigger

I’ve been bitten by freedom as well. Never again.

    Shadow 2 trigger

Awesome thank you! I'll go back to the 13 then.

    Shadow 2 trigger

Do you have any issues with light strikes with this combo? ive been having issues shooting supervel with this combo as well as the rami extended firing pin and there spring
  4. Might need a new recoil spring not necessarily a heavier one.

    Shadow 2 trigger

I just put in the cz custom electro polished comp hammer and frankly haven't noticed anything significantly different then the stock hammer. Does look cool though so theres that I guess.
  6. I have been using a cajun extended firing pin all last season. I recently got the CZ extended firing pin and it is definently longer then both the cajun and the stock firing pin but still got some light strikes on the supervel ammo I run with a 10# hammer spring which is why I went with the cz custom pin. Back to my 12# hammer spring and everything is fine again.
  7. Yeah Im thinking ill just grab a 9mm 1911 and call it a day
  8. Decided this winter would be the perfect time to start shooting single stack with my Kimber .45. Only problem is I don't reload for .45 and factory .45 is not the most fun to shoot when all I can find is 190+ power factor. How difficult would it be to either barrel swap to a .40? Do I need a whole new top end?
  9. I'm using a 12# czc hammer spring with the cajun extended firing pin and spring. Ive yet to have a light strike with this combo I'm getting about a 4.5# DA pull on my Lyman trigger gauge.
  10. I'm using mbx spring and follower with my Henning base pads. I'm able to get 24 reloadable in all of my mags

    Holosun 507comp

Yes it works… the issue is I’m a dip s#!t and didn’t find the correct screws in the box.
  12. Looks like it was the over travel screw that backed out a rch and was causing it to not go back far enough to drop the hammer.

    Holosun 507comp

I didn’t see they had longer screws thank you. And I’m not sure if they are poor quality or not. I guess we will find out if it shears

    Holosun 507comp

    What screws are you using?

    Holosun 507comp

Anyone using the 507 comp on the shadow 2 optic ready? Tried to mount it with my rmr plate and it doesn’t work. Anyone know of a plate that works?
  16. Definitely wasn’t a broken slide stop the Guns damn near brand new. After I got home from area 1 I cleaned the living s#!t out of it so I think that could have been it or that over travel screw could have been the culprit.
  17. None to this one. It was how I got it from the Ben stoeger pro shop
  18. Was shooting my shadow 2 orange and had a dead trigger after I’d already been shooting. Was in single action and wouldn’t fire till I racked the slide… has anyone had this happen and know whats causing it?
  19. What’s the point of the recoil buffer on the shadow 2 and do you use it or take it off?
  20. Thanks. I just checked them out. Doesn’t look like they have any at the moment.
  21. Where can I find an optic plate for an sig Romeo XL. I bought a used shadow with a SRO but wanting to put my XL on it and I’m having a hard time finding the right plate.

    Parts kit

What are the go to extra parts you guys keep for your shadow 2’s? Im currently shooting a p320max but will be making the change to the shadow in the near future and like to keep a parts kit with me.
  23. That last sentence is the biggest factor for me. I don’t really want to drop close to 4k on a gun that I could end up not shooting in competition.
  24. What are the benefits of a shooting limited optics vs open? Been saving for an Open gun but like the fact I can shoot the same minor ammo as my CO gun if I went limited optics. I’ve been looking at either the MPA open or the new MPA limited optics gun. Price is only a few hundred bucks one way or the other.
