Stafford
I have a Gen 5 Glock 17 without front serrations. Will grip tape work for manipulating the slide from the front? Or will it heat up and slide off? Most of the videos I've seen using grip tape on the slide show it placed on top of the slide. Anyone use grip tape as a makeshift form of front serrations? SGT_Schultz
It's super easy and cheap to try it and find out, so let us know how it works. There's probably a good reason why you only see it applied to the top. BTW I found I didn't need front serrations if my left palm is coated in grip lotion. Yeti
Grip tape on the sides of the slide will limit holster options.
dapribek
A hard no on grip tape on the front of your slide. Tried it and it sanded holster and inhibited my draw.
