RePete
When I loaded N320 it was:- 180gr Frontier Plated CMJ 4.6gr/N320 PF 168 I was down loading the round.
d3ydx3
4.6-4.8gr of N320 is where you want to be at with a 1.135” OAL. 4.6 will be 165-167PF and 4.8 will be around 172-175PF with a 180gr coated or plated bullet. I use 4.8 for my major loads with my 40 1911 that is tuned for factory length 40. For minor loads I just swap the bullet to a 140gr conical that gets me 137 PF with the same 4.8gr of N320. CocoBolo
Plated bullets take a little extra care in loading. Do a search here, belling and crimping.

BJB
Slower burning...What? N320 is the premier powder for 40 major.
