pskys2
Is there actually any difference between the Super 1050 vs the 550 Powder Measure? I just noticed the different part numbers. I have both and have used the 550 Measure on my Super 1050 with no issues. A cursory look doesn't show any differences other than the Die it sits on. AHI
Only difference is the powder die that comes with it.
pmiya
Failsafe powder rod is also different.

ltdmstr
I use the 1050 rods on my 550s because the 550 rod is a PIA when you want to remove the powder measure. The 1050 rod makes it a snap.

The 1050 rod makes it a snap. Never thought to try that. The die are interchangeable.. The 1050 one is hardened. The regular die works fine for most of us.
