EGW Pistol Optics Mount

Recommended Posts

Been noticing EGW advertising in USPSA magazine.

(Did they drop the name Front Sight?)

Is anyone using a EGW optics mount on a Glock etc?

Opinions? Are you happy with it.

Goal is to try out optics on a Glock without getting too $ invested in to start

Does the site mount extra high.

How do you sight it in without a rear sight?

Any other questions I should be asking?

TIA

For 50 bucks it works great to give carry optics a try.

Put it on my wife's gun and 4 years later it's still on probably 15k through it without a problem.

I've used them a couple of times other than hers and never a problem

I use the EGW on a 9mm 1911 with a Holosun 507C and it works great.  I use the Laserlyte bore sighter for every gun and it always get me within 2" of the bullseye.

For the Glock, don't laugh but I've been running this $15 UTG mount for about 2 years:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07BK7SJF2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've had the EGW optics mount on my G17 for about a year.  I have a Vortex Venom on it and couldn't be happier with it.  No problems installing it or otherwise.  EGW has good stuff.  Mine was on the paper at 10 yds when I mounted it.  I adjusted it from there.
