hopalong
Well seems like the elusive "M" card is still that. (I told you Carmoney) I missed a 100% on 6 chickens last weekend by 3/8 of an inch..... Young Master Walsh has moved up the rankings now to 2nd highest master. Carmoney gained a little too !!!! D. Carden and I just barely made improvements but maybe one day we can get in there with Cliff. Maybe next month...... Hope everyone is doing good out there,Get out and run them guns. HOP Lets Hear it.....Who else moved up, changed Classes Ect. Edited to add..... Looks like Tom went up a little, and Keith moved up a few spots on the TOP 20 list. hopalong
Dave, I'm tryinnnnnnnn....... But man it is just like at the TN section...... Good time, good hits.....but them D@mn no shoots keep getting in the way. SO close....Yet So Far!!!!! Take for instance this last weekend. WE shot 6 chickens....had 10A,2C and 2NS both just enough to get the line. Had that "awsome torque" Randy keeps talking about not been there I would have been farther into the No shoots!!! back to original programming..... That 6 chickens run would have been 105% acording to the OHIO classifier. Now you know what I'm screaming..... HOP And another thing.....Our club had a special classifier match.....was wanting to raise my L-10 scores up so shoot the wheel gun in L-10...... One of the stages is Bang and Clang.......shot it in 2.60 clean which turns out to be a 94% L-10 score but a 100% revo score.....who would have "thunkit"? Latter or sooner....it don't really matter I guess Edited September 15, 2005 by hopalong
Carmoney
You'd be a Master right now if things had gone better for you on Stage 18. Don't worry--you'll get there.
hopalong
You just had to remind me of that.... But see what I'm talking about on the NO shoots !!!!! HOP

Carmoney
Sorry, Sam, I really didn't mean to bring up a sore subject....it's just interesting how much one little stage can affect things when you reach the higher levels.
Carmoney
Nice job, Snipe! You've made fast progress in a division that is becoming tougher and more competitive all the time!
D.carden
This is a real tough spot to be in. Push to hard for a few matches, you dont get in. To conservative, you dont get in. Getting the "M" card is exactly that........!!!!! Becoming.....a.....Master......!!!!! It's all about upper-end consistence now. So whats the trick here ?? Focusing on match performances and let the damn thing just happen....or.... focusing on classifier ( stand and shoot ) type shooting. I dont know. Go with your gut that day i guess. Dan........... Tom Mainus
How the helll do you guys do good on the classifiers. I litterally have not shot a decent classifier in over a year. Im just thank-ful you guys let me hang out with you. I can shoot my class in the big matches, but forget it when it comes to the local stuff. Matt Cheely
....Focusing on match performances and let the damn thing just happen or.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bingo!!! Just let it happen, nothing good comes from pushing for it.
D.carden
Me too Tom. I crash and burn on most of mine. My increases have been from Major match finishes.
Keith
I seem to crumble when a certain camera crew comes around to film the revolver squad. But, My revolver percentage went up .234 % this week and is now higher than my limited percentage. By .147 %. SIX SHOT
Hop, You must have started with the gun in your hands! 2.60 seconds is staying pretty busy! I should have moved up this month, 2 of my classifiers didn't seem to make it to Sedro in time. I had one in Jackson Hole tht was in the 70's, can't remember for sure & the other at the Idaho State Championships that went 87%, it was 03-07, for some reason I seem to do better on the 1-1-1-1 type classifiers that the double taps, anyone else notice this. I had one of them a year ago that was 102% but it got tossed because one shooter, after bombing the stage announced that one of the no-shoots was to high, so it got tossed for everyone, BIG MOUTH, bottom shooter anyway.
