saibot
I added extended base pads to my Gen 1 STI mags and now have an issue where the 9mm spacers slide down too far. Sigh... Any ideas on how to fix that? Thank again!
cecil
use silicon to glue them in place... its a good idea to put newspaper or something similar to hold the spacers flat against the mag.. so not to cause the cartridges to jam when feeding... EEH
Only way to fix is to glue then in. Once you put extended pads on you left free space from end of spacer to bottom of base pad. or get longer spacer.
Sarge
Silicone them in.

Just curious, I don't have any Gen 1's but if you don't put the longer spacer in are you running the risk of the follower or round hanging up at the bottom of the short spacer? cconnection
If you are running 140 mags, buy 170 spacers and cut to fit? Plastic spacers are super cheap, stainless are only $
