rustychev
I just ordered a sig max 1911 for use in SS and will be removing the series 80 parts as soon as I get it. I would like to order the spaser I will need before it gets here. Does any one know how thick the series 80 parts are?
Fergus
I replaced mine in both my guns and used the standard width spacer from Brownells. I did polish the sides a bit with 1500grit and finally 2000 grit. Edited November 23, 2018 by Fergus
dthomas1003
Same, standard width. .057 width. https://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/frame-parts/frame-hardware/fillers/frame-slot-filler-standard-057--sku876011780-13121-31597.aspx?sku=876011780

Intel6
Yup, I replaced both of mine with the standard spacer and everything works great.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: I used a set of feeler gauges to get the correct thickness. Mine was not standard thickness but a little bit more. That was on a 45acp that I ended up selling. I shouldn't have sold that one. Thanks, Eric
