mpom
https://store.apextactical.com/WebDirect/Products/Details/192597 Seems Apex now has 2.0 specific kits, so no need for work arounds such as M&P45 substitutions.
Stafford
So, an internal Apex kit makes the M&P legal for IDPA SSP?

I expect that is just the M&P 45 kit relabeled for the 9 and 40 2.0s

Yep, for the 2.0 though I'd personally just use the stock trigger spring vs the Apex Duty Carry. The Apex Duty Carry trigger spring brings the trigger weight back to stock, but you do get a cleaner break and shorter reset b/c of the sear. When I was running a 2.0 in SSP I used the Apex Sear (2 DOT same as the 1.0 .45ACP Sear), Ultimate Striker Block and spring, and the Apex Competition Sear spring. Apex does not recommend using the Competition Sear Spring on the 2.0 though. You could just use the stock sear spring, the Apex only made a little bit of difference. This plus doing the normal polishing and honing of factory parts produced a nice trigger.
