Which length SVI insert?

Just bought a used STI 2011 with a SVI trigger with long flat insert. The trigger is way too long for me so I need to buy a new insert. I haven't found a sizing guide anywhere and I don't want to buy a bunch of different inserts trying to find one that fits. The measurement between the tip of my index finger and my wrist is 7".  If I go with another flat trigger insert, should I go with a short or medium?

I like the enos too curve, short flat would be my second choice. Are you local to KC? If so I have several inserts find me at a match and try them.

I'm liking short flat. My hand seems to be just slightly larger than yours. 

 

IIRC, Brownells lists some of the overall lengths of the different sizes. Front of insert to back of bow.

Its an asymmetric version that comes in 2 configurations; top or bottom curved. It's a hybrid between a standard curved profile and a flat profile. WIth the "top" curved, the top half of the trigger is like a standard curved trigger and the bottom half is flat. Bottom curved is the opposite. Google it.

I just received my SVI.  I ordered it w/ the curved medium.  My wrist-to-index tip measurement is just slightly longer than you.  I'm going to switch out the trigger for the short curve or straight.
