JamisonMcCollister
Trying to get a good idea of where to start with a 135 RN with titrgroup out of my CZ accushadow. I currently have have been loading 165 RN xtreme with 3.0 gn at 1.150 OAL. This runs smooth and soft out of my gun 100 percent of time. My oress currently is set with an OAL of 1.130 for the BBI. But I'm pretty sure I go load this longer with no problem. At 1.130 it passes the plunk test. Also if anyone has experience with the 135 your thoughts on accuracy v. a 147 would be appreciated Any thoughts and insight as to starting grains and OAL would be helpful. Thanks in advance. Hi-Power Jack
I'd start with your current 3.0 load, and work up, slowly, with a chrono. If 1.13" passes The Plunk Test, try it back a little further - see if you can get out to 1.14" ...
Aceyduce
My load was 3.4 of Titegroup behind a Bayou 135 at 1.110 for a 131 PF out of my CZ.

MemphisMechanic
I've run everything EXCEPT titegroup behind this bullet. I love the way it shoots, nearly as soft as a jacketed 147. But on a budget. This might help: Edited October 13, 2016 by MemphisMechanic
MemphisMechanic
Crap - I just saw that the bullet weights are chopped off on the left side. I'll get the full chart soon if you like. But I've only run WST and Ramshot Competition behind 135s

MemphisMechanic
Thanks! I just plugged all my loads into excel. I got tired of digging through randomly scribbled post-it's and scraps of notebook paper near the reloading bench every time I wanted to return to an old recipe. mjmagee67
My load for my CZ SP-01 is 3.7gr N320 under a 135gr BB at 1.115-1,120. This gives me a PF of 126 to 128. For larger matches I bump the charge up to 3.8gr which gives me a PF of 128 to 131. At Area 2 I chronoed at 129ish BUT by bullet weighed 134.1gr. Glad I had that extra .1 gr of powder. On a side note I own 3 SP-01s and 2 have really slow barrels, the other will always chrono 2 to 3 PF higher. Compared to my Kimber 1911, M&P 9Pro and Tanfo Stock II the SP-01s are 4 to 5 PF lower with the exact load. I literally have to make a special load for the CZ where the same load will work fine in the other guns or I end up shooting a 133 to 137 PF load. I thought I was the only one who had a slow shooting CZ. My accu shadow is always about 4 to 5 PF lower then my regular shadow. Just for anyones reference I did some testing yesterday. I opted for an OAL of 1.090 with 3.5 grains of titegroup and was averaging 973 fps on a 135 BBI. I opted for the shorter oal because it would drop in and drop out without really having to shake the barrel or feel like the bullet was getting stuck on the rifling.
