    Anyone load 124 grain xtreme bullets for their shadow 2? If so can anyone provide a good base line data for me? Round nose and hollow point xtremes.

    I have a couple of the jagers the fitment on the 17 is poor on it. Maybe one for the 34 will be better. I guess I don't see the difference in the Jager since it's captured Vs say a taran tactical that uses a slide insert. In theory even the captured is using a slide insert to make it work in the gen. 4

    So if I'm reading the rules correctly. On a Gen 4 Glock I have to use the factory recoil assembly. I'm not allowed to use an old style assembly because i would have to use a slide insert to make the gen 1 assemblies work? are there other options for recoil springs for a gen. 4 other then the factory? suggestions would be helpful.

    rowdy are you shooting coated bullets or plated bullets. I found to get the plated to feed a lot easier. I don't know if it was the longer length I could get out of them or what. I only have a problem with my coated bullets. I'll admit the are pretty short averaging about 1.085 ish OAL.

    whats the recoil spring everyone is using. I believe I swapped to a 10 or 11 #. On occasion I'm having an issue with the gun failing to feed. As if the round is getting stuck about half way into the chamber. Any recommendations? Also I went to pull out the extractor from the slide. I couldn't get the pin out of the upper slide. anyone else had this issue? I'm also looking at just swapping my front sight for a dawson fiber optic. Any recommendations on a front sight height with 135 grain BBI ? current mods on my S2 include, new disco, czc comp hammer, thintex grips, 10 # recoil spring. The trigger feels identical to my accushadow. I'm loving the gun so far. Just looking forward to getting it dialed in 100 percent.

    I know they cover more then two inches. they are angel adjustable so that I wasn't worried about. My real concern was if it was still considered covering the majority of the outter face of the magazine. The rule book isn't very specific and these are what I have available to go shoot a match. Not trying to get DQ'd for them, or if need be buy me another set of pouches. Thanks for the info.

    Ha.... I thought I was the only one who had a slow shooting CZ. My accu shadow is always about 4 to 5 PF lower then my regular shadow. Just for anyones reference I did some testing yesterday. I opted for an OAL of 1.090 with 3.5 grains of titegroup and was averaging 973 fps on a 135 BBI. I opted for the shorter oal because it would drop in and drop out without really having to shake the barrel or feel like the bullet was getting stuck on the rifling.

    Trying to get a good idea of where to start with a 135 RN with titrgroup out of my CZ accushadow. I currently have have been loading 165 RN xtreme with 3.0 gn at 1.150 OAL. This runs smooth and soft out of my gun 100 percent of time. My oress currently is set with an OAL of 1.130 for the BBI. But I'm pretty sure I go load this longer with no problem. At 1.130 it passes the plunk test. Also if anyone has experience with the 135 your thoughts on accuracy v. a 147 would be appreciated Any thoughts and insight as to starting grains and OAL would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

    I didnt file it..... I took it to a gun smith and had them install it....... I think i will give TTI a call........ I'm pretty disappointed in that.

    I installed the TTI sights on my G17 and when the set screw is tightened down one side or another raises up....... has anyone else had this problem???

    alright guys I put the TTI sights on my gun..... and im not real happy with them. for one reason or another the rear sight lifts up when the set screw is tightened down..... any suggestions??? any one else have this problem???

    Bladetech holster on a boss holster hanger is the only way to go!!!! its about 100 bucks but its worth every penny.... and as long as its in stock you will get it fast from the ben stoeger pro shop.

    I can carry a 34. But for me I'm not a real tall guy and in a patrol car the gun will be buried in the seat lmao. I opted for the 17 because it was a tad bit shorter but still retain the capacity. I did order the TTI sights and I might drop in a TTI connector kit....... Seems like a decent option without changing a ton of stuff in the gun. Anyone use the TTI kits?

    Yea there a lot of departments around here who do not allow a single modification to their glocks. I have worked for those departments. However the one I'm going to is very laid back. They don't really care. I just don't want to go full race gun on it. No need. Keep it basic with good sights recoil system and smooth crisp trigger.

    I would love to have a CZ however I have a ton of glock holsters and since I start my new job August 3 I don't have time to wait for a holster to get here. Not to mention my shadows and their competition triggers are a touch on the light side. I can't imagine trying to defend my competition gun in court. Plus cost. I can buy a glock very cheap since they support the L.E. Community very very well.

    Dayum my bad I meant Taran not Tarzan. But I truly appreciate the clarification lmao!!! I like the idea of a minus connector and just doing some polishing. Keeping it smooth but not something I would accidentally set off. I don't want to drop the trigger weight to much.

    Have any of you used the Tarzan tactical sights?? I've used the sevigny sights in the past. I very much like them. Just thinking of something new. I unfortunately can't use an extended slid stop on the glock. It sticks out and I tend to bump them up. And ranger that's a sick glock. Not sure I need it that extreme. My departments is super laid back and really doesn't care what I do. I was told I can carry anything I want. I almost hit the ground Bahahaha. Any suggestions on guide rod and recoil springs??

    You can run the 11# recoil spring with any main spring you choose. If your shooting factory I would diff suggest the Extended FP and a 13# main. I run federal primers with my 11.5 main spring and it runs flawless but I also have the extended firing pin. I have also run CCI, and Winchester no problem. But if I was running factory loads I would prolly stick to the 13# main.
