MrPostman
Looks like they are hitting the ramp low so the bottom is putting a smiley on them. Load up some dummy rounds and lock the slide open. Then put the mag in and slowly rack, and slowly release the slide to see where they are impacting. It could be your plastic grip is worn out which would cause the mag to have a lot of play. See how much wiggle room you have, with the slide off put a mag in and check it for side to side and back and forth. A new grip will be pretty snug in this test. jbarnett50
I have a steel grip. My guess was that it was hitting too steeply into the chamber. I'll try your suggestion.
jbarnett50
Couldn't replicate it manually. The round sits at the center of the ramp before closing the slide. Timing issue? I'm a little worried about set back with how deep the groove is. I should probably measure them.
Hi-Power Jack
Low probability of solving the problem, but a real easy "solution" might be just making sure your grip screws are tight Good luck with it.
JMontie
Check the feed lips on the mag. It looks like the front of thefeed lips are narrower than the rear.
tyler2you
It's the "on-deck" round that's smacking into the bottom of the ramp under recoil. Does the bottom edge of your ramp protrude into the magwell? May need to cut it back a bit: http://forums.brianenos.com/index.php?showtopic=215832 http://forums.brianenos.com/index.php?showtopic=225753 Edited July 28, 2016 by tyler2you

zombywoof
I had the same problem. drove me nuts. Where can this round imprint come from. Its the magazine causing the mark from recoil. The number two round hits the cut out in the mag during recoil. The coated flat nose bullet shows this. Put your bullet with the imprint in the mag and the mark will line right up. Drove me nuts.
