rowdyb
Is there a way to determine what year my press was made? I bought a used 1050 in 2013 the owned said they bought in 2002/3 and I'm curious as to its exact age. Thank you.

doctordan70s
The powder measurer might get you in a ball park year but I'm not sure but my square deal bought in 2001 has the older powder measurer on it.
Dr. Phil
To find out my wife's age I just looked at her teeth. Oh, wait, maybe that was my horse? Never mind. I don't know how to age a press.
jmorris
If it's a Super its the "new" one, the RL is the "old" 1050.
mike l m
Age of the press doesn't matter. I have two 450Bs that I purchased in 1986-87. Probably have run 500k rounds thru one of them and 350k thru the other. Just keep them clean and lubed up, will run forever. If it breaks, call Dillon and they will take care of it. Great company and great people to deal with. IMVHO Mike
Dennis (CT)
Did you receive any pamphlets / instructions with the machine? Possibly checking the print date on the manual, it might give you closer idea of old your machine is.
