.40 carbine loads

I load 40 major for my pistol with 180gr bullet with Alliant E3 or Accurate Solo 1k.

Now with the new PCC category starting, what would be a good combination for a 16" barrel carbine load? Light bullet slow powder? Same load as pistol? Just load minor, since all PCC scoring will be minor?

What are your opinions...

My .40 PCC load is the same as my Production .40 minor load. TG under a Missouri 180 TC lead bullet. Smacks the steel hard and accuracy is just fine. Ran it in a PCC in a match last week and had no problems. Scorekeeper opined "your gun does not even move" (when fired). :) Run as light a load as your gun likes.

I am using a Mechtech conversion for Glock frames. I found that stout loads work better for cycling in my Mechtech. Somewhere around 190-195PF. I am still working with it and want to try a couple more loads, but it is heavy, so the recoil is dampened.
