Forrest Halley
Anyone know if these are still falling apart after a few years? I am looking to put a pad on a pump shotgun, but will skip this brand if they are still turning into gooey trash after a few years.
toothandnail
I've had several for 3-4 years, look just as good as the day they were new. Best recoil pad I've used, of course I haven't bought any other brand since I got my first one
TwoShot
I have had a Limbsaver on my duck gun for probably 10+ years. It has started to break down and get sticky.
troupe
I had to replace mine as well.
optimator
I have had a Limbsaver on my duck gun for probably 10+ years. It has started to break down and get sticky. Same here. It was fine for a long time then one day it just went to hell. I put a new on it because I do like them.
DagoRed
I guess I'd better go check. They're my favorite too and I've had a couple on for over 5 years, but haven't shot rifle in a few years (I'm a year after back surgery and was planning to hunt this year though). I did start storing all my rifles barrel down though, to help w the soft pads getting deformed and tearing. Course going mushy is probably a different problem.
