Xtreme Stock II runs into a Stock II.

Just couldn't deal with the silver controls on the Xtreme model.

So I traded some parts out - resulting in two distinctly different looks.

The Xtreme model did need some polishing work. But not nearly as much as what was required for my stock Stock II.

The triggers are very close, right now. So I'm thinking I may actually go the route of using one for practice and the other for matches.

At first, I thought it was because of the camera angles.

But, looking at them again - there are a few definite differences.

1. The beaver tail is beefier on the Xtreme model.

2. The barrel does not extend as far on the Xtreme model. So the barrel on the Xteme is a tad bit shorter. Haven't actually measured it yet.

3. The area under the beavertail is also shaped just a slight bit differently. Angle is just a little more abrupt on the Xtreme model.

When holding in the hand, though, there's no noticeable difference.

OI wonder if this is just a change in Tangfolio's frames. Or do they actually use different frames for the regular and Xtreme models?
