timawa
Budget $400. Poor man's optics, cheaper the better. I'll spend more money on ammos. Thanks!
bishop414
Ton of choices in the price range. Ones I am familiar with in no particular order: 1. Eotech - yes, bad press right now, but mine is still holding up. I am waiting for the new Burris 1x which is still 6 months out at least. 2. Burris 1x - many like it, hard to find since Burris is having production issues and developing a new reticle. 3. Vortex - either the Spitfire or Strikefire 2. Just picked these up and seem to do the job well for <$200 4. Aimpoint PRO (patrol rifle optic) - Aimpoint is solid. Can be found for high $300's on sale. Good luck

mscott
I'm really liking the Vortex Spitfires. Also nice knowing there will be a reticle there without batteries.
EaZeNuTZ33
After getting to handle them at Shot, I really like the Vortex prism 1x
LoneRanger
I have a Burris AR 1X new in box. $275.00 plus S/H and 3% pay pal charge.
Shooter115
I've got a Vortex Spitfire sitting in the safe. It looks really nice, but I haven't put it on a rifle to shoot yet. It's still cold and miserable here and my range is still covered in snow. Soon I hope.
Nathanb
Spitfire rocks. Especially if you typically see a blurry dot
