Hi all from the Hampton Roads area of Virginia! New here to the forum and I'm looking forward to all the information there seems to be here on it[emoji106] I currently shoot and am in love with (shh.. don't tell my wife, even though I think she knows) my S&W Shield 9. Also have a third generation 32 Winchester Special. I'm currently looking to get into reloading l, just not sure which way to go on a press. Kind of limited with [emoji385][emoji385] being father of three.

Welcome aboard.

Best way to start deciding which press to buy is to think about

1. how many calibers will you be reloading?

2. how many rounds of each will you reload per month or year?

3. how much time do you have to reload?

That's a good start - if you're loading only for the Shield, and

you're NOT in competitive shooting, you can use a single

stage press (very inexpensive - I used one for years - and

you'll never outgrow it - always comes in handy).

Welcome to the forums!

Buy yourself a reloading manual . . . any manual. I'm partial to Hornady but, they all do a good job of explaining the fundamentals . . . terminology and the like.

I bought abc's of reloading .Love it so far. Thanks!

Just get a single stage press. Lee makes a good inexpensive one.

The "other stuff" will eat your budget and it's needed no matter the press.

Chrono

Scale

Die sets

Funnels

Caliper

Etc.
