bret
What is the longest tube you can put on a shotgun without it getting hit by the shot? I am putting an xrail on a Versamax, so I took a long tube off of it and can put it on my Benelli M4, it sticks out about 24" past the barrel. On my Super Black Eagle II I get carbon from the blast but it's not quite as long. With the tube and plus 2 cap, I can get 20 shells in the shotgun. kurtm
Oh I don't know, getting hit with shot would really sting at the very best and it really could be a really HUGE problem depending on where and how deep.
wgj3
Somebody has pics of the "thai" tubes from a few years back... Don't worry about shot hitting the tube.

Stlhead
If you quad load you must have a 20 round tube at least. Shower curtain rods all over the country are quivering in fear of being turned into tube extensions. Your tube can never be too long. There is an ancient proverb about the man who possesses a very long tube, he must also have a very long spring.

openclassterror
Here is one we put together. It worked, but dumping it was a problem......... Also, it hit the ceiling if I tried to stand it up in the corner of the office. Edited October 21, 2015 by openclassterror
sschultz
If you get the chance check out TACCOMs new mag tubes they are modular and you don't need couplers to add extensions.
