Orbit
Are there any issues if I buy WOLFF Guide rod and Recoil springs for my Glock 17 & 34 Gen 4? I will be using a reducer ring. Some says it cannot be. Please share your experience.
Marshal82
Probably none but I do prefer the Jager guide rods. I wrote a review here - Glock Guide Rod Review
Foxj66
You can, but for a gen 4 Jager rod is the way to go. As far As I know he is the only one making them with a Larger end like the stock gen 4 rods.

Maybe I will try ordering it online but most don't want to ship in Canada.
Foxj66
Will shootersconnection or Jager ship to canada? Those are the two places I have ordered them from
jlo86cj
Jäger if you want captured. Jentra if you want non-captured larger diameter for Wolff springs.

S&W686
For the Gen 4 Glock's I would go with Jager or GlockMeister. At GlockMeister you can purchase the guide rod with the spring weight you want for your Glock.

FWIW, I've been using a Wolff guide rod and springs with a Zev adapter button in my Gen 4 G-20 for a while now without any ill effects.
SuperTrooper
I'm happy with my Jager rod and 13 lb spring. It is a tight fit to get it in though.

Does the barrel assembly groove fit both rod heads equally well? Has your frame also remained unmarked after extended firing? Thanks!

The frame looks fine, but keep in mind, I'm shooting bunny fart loads, 13# rsa and just enough Vhit for it to cycle reliably.
