dcloudy777
Hello... I'm new to the USPSA scene, I'm going to put a .40 barrel in my Delta Elite to shoot Lim10. I run a #20 Wolff for my 10mm, I'm thinking that might be too stout for even a major .40 load, probably going to run 155gr at a little under 1100 fps. You guys run .40 1911's in Limited and Lim10, what spring rate seems to work well the 165PF loads? Thanks. DanO

Larry White
Dano, your missing part of the set up here. Your going to want to change main spring too. I would use a 17 lb imsi main spring and a 12.5 or 14 imsi recoil spring.-----Larry
dcloudy777
Larry, thanks, and on a dedicated match gun I'd probably do that, but this gun in it's evil 10mm incarnation is my daily carry piece, and I'd like to do all the tuning from just the recoil-spring side. I gotta bad feeling I'd forget to change the mainspring back, run some Doubletap 10mm, and end up wearing a 1911 slide as a permanent hood ornament DanO
Rush
12.5 lb ISMI spring, 17 lb main spring and 3 shock buffs... I shoot 200 gr bullets loaded at 3.9grs on N320... Hope this helps... I'm wondering what kind of setup Blake Miguez is using. His gun moves so flat and i'm thinking is that he's shooting minor? Is this correct? Regards to all... Rush
Thanks Flex... its amazing how little lift he gets and his rate of fire.. even on targets that are 15 yds and beyond... More practice then Thanks again.. Rgds,
