jedmyers
Hello, I ran across these comps today. Has anyone had any experience with them? The seem to be well built. I'm curious for a build I'm working on. http://www.binaryeng.com/products/cfd-titanium-compsensator Thanks, Jerrod
GrumpyOne
Why not ask the maker? He's a forum vendor here... http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showforum=
kneelingatlas
I think it's pretty great My friend wants to do a bunch of slo-mo video comparing Open setups, so once that happens, you'll be able to see how it compares to some of my other Open guns. jid2
I'm that guy. Lots of info in this thread http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=206151 But yeah of course it is amazing. The port design is dialed in with real engineering work and it's the lightest comp I know of. I've got good info on what to expect from holes as well. ZackJones
Have you done any work with 9mm minor loads and your comp? I'll be having a 9mm open steel gun built later this year and was wondering if you comp would be a good fit for it.
kneelingatlas
Zack, I've tested some 'lil Gun loads through mine which silly soft and flat, but still cycled the slide if I remember correctly. They were 115gr Xtreme plated loaded 1.170", charges of 8.2, 9.5 and 9.8; velocities were 841, 849, and 969 respectively. Report was like a cap gun . At 9.8gr the case is nearly full, so if I were to get serious about it, I might try 124s or a faster powder/lighter bullet. I've also shot 10gr of SP2 under a 100gr Xtreme, which is also very flat, louder and more exciting.
