jmcqueen
The spring clip in my Aftec extractor broke one end off causing it to not extract, Took it apart and turned it around so the good end pointed foward and put one spring in. Worked just fine until a new one arrived. Could keep you shooting one day.

Cowboy1629
Never broke one but do have a spare in my range bag as well as some springs.
Whitefish
I broke one on my Dawson open gun. Had a failure to extract and corresponding jam during a match - first time for the gun. I discovered the broken cap when I went through the gun after the match. I ordered two new ones along with new springs and replaced it, no further issues. To be on the safe side, I did order two and kept the other in my batch of spare parts for the range bag.
caspian guy
Yep had both of the tabs on the spring retainer clip break on the aftec in my open gun. Gun was still working fine, I only found it when I stripped the gun for routine maintenance. It seems to be a somewhat freak occurence as its the first time I have ever had it happen and I have had aftecs in my guns for at least 15 years.
