This year the stages were set up to lean more towards a 6 round option to see if more people would revert back to major in revolver. The focus was to make the major/minor decision very difficult for competitors in both matches of the "Classic Nationals"

If you had a lick of sense and a major gun that runs, you shot major at this match. I don't have either so........

By setting up the match to "help" the major revolvers you made it less technical for the major SS guns and made the major/minor choice in SS moot. That is what I felt shooting the match. It would have been nice to add a few targets to the SS match to up the complexity, then take them away for revolver to try and help the major guys.

Now I understand the 24 rounds. Thank you.

Again, it was a well run match, it was fun, just not what I expected.

LOL. Looking at the results, it was funny seeing how many super seniors there were.
