ChuckS
I have heard that the USPSA BOD is considering a major change to accommodate the increasing popularity of “production optics” guns. Rather than create yet another division, or again try to eliminate the L-10 division, the path forward is seen to be the modification of Open. The new division will be limited to a maximum of 10 rounds loaded in any magazine at the start signal and all shooters will be scored as minor. The only other change is the elimination of the magazine gauge requirements. The division will be renamed New Open, or NO as a tribute to Vince Pinto. Youngeyes
I would advice the BOD to just say NO to any advise about PO, production optics. It should be called POOP...Production Optics Open Program.
5iron
It will get all competive just like every class, and the guys will be shooting $6,000 guns in NO division, and defeat what there trying to accomplish, we already have an optic allowed division called open.
